Fans of the BBC series, which was also tailored for a US model on PBS, are going wild for Barbara Allen’s Trash n Treasures thriller series – the first ebook of which is named Antiques Roadkill.
The 18-book series follows protagonist Brandy Borne, who faces varied mysteries surrounding the eclectic world of vintage searching. The first ebook’s synopsis reads: “Brandy Borne finds her return home met with mayhem and murder when her mother, a larger-than-life actress and gossip, is swindled out of some priceless antiques by Clint Carson, who then winds up dead – making Brandy the prime suspect in the murder investigation.”
