A preferred sequence starring a Bridgerton favorite and Peaky Blinders star is getting ready to make its comeback to screens.

Channel 4 revealed right this moment that a recent chapter of the beloved drama anthology sequence I Am is in development. The latest version of the BAFTA-winning female-centred drama will carry the title I Am Helen, that includes a Bridgerton star.

I Am Helen will showcase Bridgerton and Derry Girl’s sensation Nicola Coughlan, alongside Joe Cole, recognised for his roles in Gangs of London and Peaky Blinders.

Nicola will be a part of the roster of distinguished figures who have beforehand taken centre stage in the I Am sequence, including Kate Winslet in 2023, reviews the Mirror.

I Am Helen continues the exceptional triumph of three earlier I Am sequence, genuinely analyzing girls’s personal journeys through daring, emotionally intense narrative.

Since launching in 2019, the programme has swiftly established itself as Channel 4’s most triumphant new 10pm drama and receives acclaim for its emotionally powerful storytelling and sturdy feminine lead.

I Am Helen will broadcast on Channel 4, although no confirmed transmission date has been introduced as yet.

Since its initial launch, the I Am anthology has garnered a sturdy following, with one fan stating: “Love the series! Very good acting and a refreshing, rare authentic representation of women on screen.”

Another chimed in: “Honestly the best show for every woman to watch. Possibly the only true representation of women I have ever seen.”

The sequence has beforehand featured high-profile names such as Vicky McClure in I Am Nicola; Samantha Morton in the BAFTA-nominated I Am Kirsty; and Gemma Chan in I Am Hannah. The second sequence was equally profitable, that includes Suranne Jones in the BAFTA-nominated I Am Victoria, Letitia Wright in I Am Danielle and Lesley Manville in I Am Maria.

The newest chapter of the critically acclaimed anthology sequence is created by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Dominic Savage.
