Stone Age Warning Sets Clock As Trump Lays Out | Political News
President Donald Trump took to the airwaves Wednesday night time with a blunt message: the marketing campaign against Iran is not winding down. More strikes are coming, he said, and if talks collapse, the next part can be far more extreme.
“Tonight, Iran’s Navy is gone. Their Air Force is in ruins. Their leaders… are now dead… their weapons factories and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces… Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating, large-scale losses in a matter of weeks.”
Trump painted a image of a marketing campaign methodically tearing aside Iran’s struggle machine: missile systems, drone networks, command buildings tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“Their command and control… is being decimated as we speak… their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed.”
But the purpose, as Trump framed it, goes past merely degrading Iran’s forces. He desires to make sure they cannot rebuild, significantly something tied to the nation’s nuclear ambitions.
“We totally obliterated those nuclear sites… the regime then sought to rebuild their nuclear program at a totally different location.”
That, he said, is the entire level.
“For these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would be an intolerable threat… I will never let that happen.”
Thirty-two days in, Trump claimed the operation had already gutted Iran as a standard preventing power.
“We are in this military operation… for 32 days, and the country has been eviscerated and essentially is really no longer a threat.”
Still, he was clear: it is not over. Talks are occurring, he acknowledged, but he did not depart a lot ambiguity about what failure would appear to be.
“Over the next two to three weeks, we’re going to bring them back to the Stone Age where they belong.”
He bought more particular from there.
“If during this period of time, no deal is made… we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously.”
Hitting energy plants would mark a important escalation, transferring past Iran’s army and into the basic infrastructure preserving the nation useful.

On fuel costs, a subject Trump is aware of resonates, he put the blame squarely on Iran.
“This short-term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching… attacks against commercial oil tankers.”
He also pushed back on the concept that the U.S. is as uncovered as it once was, leaning on home manufacturing numbers.
“Because of our ‘drill baby drill’ program, America has plenty of gas… we produce more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.”
Trump said Iran’s oil amenities have not been touched, but famous they may very well be.
“We have not hit their oil… because it would not give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding. But we could hit it, and it would be gone.”
He also had a pointed message for international locations that rely on the Strait of Hormuz: stop anticipating the U.S. to keep it open for you.
Wednesday’s handle left little room for interpretation. A deal would possibly still occur, but the targets are already set, and Trump’s clock is ticking in the weeks forward.
