Carlos Lagrange, Ben Hess will join Yankees at…

Two of the Yankees’ top pitching prospects will be at major league spring training for the first time, the crew announced Thursday.

Both Carlos Lagrange and Ben Hess have been among the non-roster invites, with Lagrange identified for hitting 103 MPH in a sport last season, most of which was spent at Double-A Somerset.

The 22-year-old Lagrange is seen as somebody who might make an affect in The Bronx, maybe as early as this yr.

Hess, 23, reached Double-A last yr, his first season in the professionals after being chosen in the first spherical by the Yankees in 2024 out of the University of Alabama.

George Lombard Jr., thought of by some to be the group’s best general prospect, obtained his second invitation to big league camp.

The 20-year-old also performed primarily with Somerset in 2025 and is already seen as an elite defensive shortstop.

If Lombard’s bat improves, he may very well be an option in The Bronx soon.
