Fans of The Celebrity Traitors consider they’ve cracked a major twist that might utterly alter the sport.

The common BBC homicide thriller has made a triumphant return, with Claudia Winkleman steering the ship for its inaugural UK celeb sequence.

The star-studded solid consists of Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, Celia Imrie, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Lucy Beaumont and Kate Garraway.

To date, three celebrities have met their premature end, and three have been banished, leaving 13 still in play, including the three Traitors, Alan, Jonathan and Cat.

Now, viewers suspect another celeb could also be harbouring a secret role set to be unveiled, experiences the Daily Record.

Celia, identified for her role in The Thursday illegal killing Club, has already supplied some unforgettable moments, from her notorious cabin fart to showcasing her performing prowess while wailing down a nicely.

Justifying her rumoured £40,000 price, Celia has been throwing around accusations of potential Traitors and supporting Faithfuls without offering strong evidence, yet she’s managed to keep in the sport.

Eagle-eyed fans now consider she may secretly be enjoying the “detective” role, which options in some variations of the sport alongside a “medic”.

One fan took to Reddit to share their concept, stating: “Celia is secretly a detective character. When she makes a correct guess at the round table (which she’s done once so far, for Cat), Claudia surreptitiously responds to her with a wink. No wink means her guess isn’t a Traitor.

“The existence of a detective in the sport can be revealed to us someday this coming week, then at some level later on to the Traitors.”

In their attempt to provide “evidence”, they highlighted that within the first 30 seconds of the inaugural episode, Claudia was seen admiring the portraits of the players. Upon observing Celia’s portrait, she remarked: “As for this one”. Following this, Celia’s portrait winked at her, to which Claudia responded with a “knockout”.

“None of that makes any sense – but it all occurs in such a blur you neglect it immediately,” the fan continued.

They also brought up her camera confessionals, stating: “Celia talks with a smile about her “investigations”…and does precisely the same wink.”

The fan went on: “She’s modified her guess every spherical desk, which suggests she’s fishing for affirmation.

“She’s talked openly to everyone about snooping and sleuthing around (which may be her having fun with her role in plain sight)”.

“(possibly) her fart has given producers a brilliant cover to obfuscate any theories about her in the wider discourse. Hard to Google anything about her that isn’t that fart.”

They concluded: “I may be way wide of the mark on this. But something is definitely up with her.”

In sure variations of the sport, fans speculate that the Detective is a covert role assumed by a Faithful, with another concealing the role of a Medic.

“But it’s also a horror, because you have not obtained a character to conceal behind, and so it’s the same as being on a chat show, you just have to be your self which is oddly fairly a tough factor to current without seeming to be affected or unreal. It is kind of exposing to just be your self.”
