A Brazilian soccer star accused pop singer Chappell Roan of bringing his 11-year-old daughter to “tears” after the diva’s security ridiculed and berated the kid at a Sao Paulo lodge Saturday.
Jorginho slammed the “Pink Pony Club” crooner in a prolonged Instagram post, claiming she despatched her security guard after his daughter for supposedly harassing and disrespecting her while they dined at the same lodge — a jarring confrontation that left the teenager “extremely shaken.”
The household was staying at the lodge forward of Roan’s headlining Lollapalooza set in Brazil.
“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,” the defensive midfielder said, noting his excited daughter woke up early that day and made a signal for the 28-year-old “Hot to Go!” singer.

“During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,” the distraught dad continued.
“And the worst part is she didn’t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, she didn’t ask for anything. What happened next was completely disproportionate.”
Jorginho said a “large security guard” stormed over and yelled at his daughter and spouse for allegedly letting the kid “disrespect” and “harass” others, and warned they’d be reported to lodge management.
He said the hostile exchange left his daughter deeply rattled and inconsolable.
“Honestly, I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,” the Flamengo participant said.

“He even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears. I’ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that.”
The “Red Wine Supernova” is infamous for setting boundaries with her followers and paparazzi – going so far as to call their conduct “predatory.”
Roan beforehand said she doesn’t “owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention” to strangers merely “because they’re expressing admiration.”
Jorginho said Roan’s treatment toward his daughter was “sad to see,” stressing his little one was just “admiring someone.”
“It’s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,” he blasted, including that the pop star would “be nothing” without her followers.
“I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.”
The unidentified little one appeared to be 11-year-old Ada Law, whom Jorginho’s spouse, Catherine Harding, had with her film star ex-husband, Jude Law, People reported.
