Civil war erupts at TalkTV as Mike Grahams racist post | UK News

Mike Graham has been absent from TalkTV following a “vile” post shared on his Facebook web page, which he insists his account was hacked. Express.co.uk understands that the broadcaster, 65, is at the moment taking a break from his breakfast show, Morning Glory, while Jeremy Kyle, 60, briefly stands in, following reviews that the previous was suspended. The post shared online featured a image of a statue of Churchill alongside a image of a crowded Tube carriage, with the caption: ‘Tell me we’re not f***ed by multicultural b***cks. Why are we surrounded by non-white people? Just f*** off…”. The post was accompanied by a picture of former prime minister Sir Winston Churchill’s statue by Big Ben next to the train picture, whose passengers included a woman wearing a hijab. The journalist deleted the statement and insisted the racist post was made as a result of his Facebook page being hacked.

Insiders at talkSPORT have alleged a civil war is brewing at Talk headquarters following this latest debacle. They claim Mike’s post is the “ultimate straw,” with some calling for the broadcaster to be axed.

A source from TalkSPORT told Express: “It’s like civil war has damaged out on the store ground.

“What the public don’t understand is that TalkSPORT and Talk radio are very different channels in the same building on the same floor. At SPORT we have people of all different colours working alongside each other peacefully. We’re one big happy team and the bosses at News UK know that.

“But at Talk Radio their agenda and output is very charged to make migrants and minorities really feel just like the enemy. The fact that Mike Graham can post some of the trash he does usually and no one in senior management has told him off before is a shame, but his Facebook post is the ultimate straw.”

They added: “None of us at TalkSPORT need to work with him. Why would we wanna work with a man who says the issues he says? In order for the Talk Radio presenters to get to their studio they’ve to stroll through the TalkSPORT part of the workplace and we do not need him there anymore.

“Just look at the presenter lineups of both stations and tell me you don’t see the difference. We have big names like Darren Bent and Gabby Agbonlahor, why should they have to share a workspace with Mike Graham after what he’s said?

“If Dennie Morris, the top of both stations, protects his good pal Mike Graham, there will be civil war in this place.”

Mike has since issued an apology following the racist post and insisted he was hacked.

On Monday, the host of the Plank of the Week podcast wrote on his X account: “On Sunday evening, my Facebook was accessed, and a vile message was posted on my web page without my information. It contained phrases that I’d never write and an opinion I don’t share.

As soon as I came upon, I immediately deleted the post and have taken steps to guarantee my cybersecurity is enhanced. Obviously, I’m mortified that such a post may have gone out in my title and am now making an attempt to discover out how it may have occurred. I’m equally very sorry for any misery it has triggered to anybody.”

Last month, Graham raged against what he called the “bereft metropolis” of London after his car was broken into in a car park.

He discussed the break-in during his show on Talk on September 25, and criticised Sir Sadiq Khan amid his row with Donald Trump over the state of the capital, telling him “London is now a bereft metropolis”.
