Coronation Street followers have been watching Kevin Webster spin a web of lies in a determined attempt to save his marriage. Played by Michael Le Vell, Kevin has even claimed he is going under chemotherapy, but he’ll soon be uncovered in surprising scenes. Tension mounts as Kevin, keen to keep away from being discovered, tries to maintain all the pieces collectively as he’s threatened by Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). But will Carl keep quiet, or will he use Kevin’s secret for his own gain? As Abi (Sally Carman) has a go at Carl for all the difficulty he’s brought about, he resists telling her about Kevin’s pretend cancer. She then confides in Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that she’s planning to inform Jack that Kevin’s cancer hasn’t responded.

However, Tyron assures her that Kevin isn’t going to die from cancer. Reeling from the lie, Abi confronts Kevin. He tells her how sorry he’s, explaining he couldn’t cope with dropping her.

Declaring that she will’t bear to look at him, a distraught Abi heads out and goes straight into Carl’s arms. As Abi asserts that she and Kevin are formally over, the pair kiss.

Carl then doubles down and informs Abi that she is doing the correct factor by remaining with Kevin and that it’s best for them to keep their distance aside for the time being.

However, at the storage, Kevin tells Carl he’s sacked. He says he merely can not trust him anymore, and Carl agrees that a new begin would possibly do him some good.

When Abi asks where Carl has gone, Kevin makes up that he stop his job and introduced that he needs to begin afresh elsewhere. This leaves Abi secretly gutted.

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) tries to persuade Carl to keep, but will she have the option to?
