DC Comics Cancels Batman Spinoff After Writer’s

A transgender comedian e-book author had their newly launched project utterly canceled by DC Comics after posts on BlueSky surfaced of them mocking the death of conservative icon Charlie Kirk.

Gretchen Felker-Martin, who is transgender and makes use of “she/her” pronouns, had a major Batman spinoff called “Red Hood” canned despite having a vital launch just this Wednesday. Additionally, it was anticipated to see future releases all the way in which into late 2026.

“At DC Comics, we place the highest value on our creators and community and affirm the right to peaceful, individual expression of personal viewpoints,” a statement from the company shared with GWN reads. “Posts or public comments that can be viewed as promoting hostility or violence are inconsistent with DC’s standards of conduct.”

Why soften the perimeters like that, DC? It’s not seen as selling hostility. It is outright hostility, supporting and celebrating the violent homicide of anyone whose greatest crime was sharing American and Christian values.

This particular person, in a just world, would never maintain employment in a revered place again in their lifetime. What did he post that led to the Batman spinoff being dropped?

Sadly, those feedback are virtually tame in contrast to what you may discover on the liberal different to X. Bluesky is a cesspool where bottom-feeding gutter trash on the left goes to congregate. They are every part Democrats tried to say about X. An alternate actuality where hate and violence breed to produce some of the most vile human beings this planet has ever produced. They make people on Reddit and 4Chan appear like prim and correct altar boys.

How dangerous is it? Bluesky truly had to issue a warning to their customers to stop celebrating the Kirk assassination.

Unfortunately for Felker-Martin, he did not get that warning in time to save a major profession project. DC Comics dropped its “Red Hood” sequence after just in the future. One day! The sequence was set for new releases through next June, while a second sequence was deliberate for December 2026. All the publication and manufacturing prices went down the drain, because you could not keep your evil ideas to your self.

The author will now have lots of time to mirror on what he has carried out. And to mud off that resume.
