Democrats in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announced Friday afternoon that they allegedly have enough votes to force Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to testify before them about his relationship to Jeffrey Epstein.
“I believe we will have the votes to subpoena him,” California consultant Ro Khanna told reporters outdoors of the performing arts heart in Chappaqua, New York. It was reported that South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace said she would also be requsting Lutnick’s look before the panel.
The renewed calls for Lutnick to testify, comes after the Justice Department launched supplies that linked the secretray to the disgraced financier. It’s been reported that the Commerce Secretary has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
