The Department of War is set to debut a new enlistment commercial for the U.S Army on Trump’s birthday.
Writing on the social media platform he set up after being kicked off Twitter, Trump wrote: “This Sunday Night, during the historic Freedom 250 UFC Fight at the White House, The Department of War will debut their first TV Ad, entitled ‘Peace Through Strength.’
He added: “The Warrior Ethos is BACK at the War Department, and we call on our best younger Americans to be part of our Great Fighting (when obligatory!) Machine”
The enlistment ad comes as Pakistan’s prime minister announced Friday that the United States and Iran have reached consensus on the language of an agreement designed to bring an end to their Middle East conflict, with mediators now working alongside both nations to complete a deal.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed the U.S. and Iran have arrived at a “ultimate, agreed upon textual content.”
He explained that Pakistan, which has spearheaded mediation initiatives, was collaborating with the conflicting countries on subsequent measures.
“Peace has never been this close as it’s now,” Sharif said in a post on X.
The apparent progress in talks follows Iran’s exchange of fire with the U.S. and Israel across three days this week, raising fears of the Middle East returning to full-scale conflict.
