Jesse Watters faces backlash from Fox News viewers | TV Shows
Jesse Watters recommended President Donald Trump for securing a new peace settlement with Iran, a stance that surprsingly drew criticism from Fox News viewers.
On the June 12 broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News, the conservative commentator disclosed that a senior White House official informed him the Middle Eastern nation had accepted the new settlement with the United States. While specifics of the deal stay undisclosed, Watters’ source estimated Iran is roughly 85 p.c dedicated to finalizing the settlement.
Watters explained, “A senior White House official tells us that Iran has agreed to a deal. And they are 75 to 85 percent confident it will be signed in the next couple of days. They’re not even negotiating on terms anymore. The framework has been agreed upon. The only discussions left are logistics; where and when to sign it?”
“The deal could even be signed this weekend. So what changed?” Watters requested before declaring, “The last three days of strikes. The president demonstrated he was ready to resume major combat operations. The Iranians did not want that. The Iranians took a beating on the coastline.”
Social media customers responded sharply to Watters’ remarks, contending he was praising a bully instead of a president. One critic remarked, “Nothing regarding nuclear material yet and Iran plans on tolls for ships transiting the Strait. Israel ops in Lebanon will continue, threatening any progress in this regard. Dial down the enthusiasm, Skippy.”
Another commented, “Absolutely stupid. Hahaha. You’re so full of s–t.”
A 3rd observer famous, “Sorry Jesse. There is no deal. Trump is being played.”
However, Trump did obtain backing from one supporter who expressed, “President Donald J Trump is BRILLIANT! What a deal and how great for the Middle East.”
On June 11, U.S. forces performed airstrikes in the Gulf of Oman that resulted in the deaths of three Indian sailors caught in the operation, experiences the Irish Star.
Central Command (CENTCOM) acknowledged conducting a strike against the Guinea-Bissau-flagged vessel Jalveer, stating the ship “violated the blockade” while making an attempt to transport Iranian oil through the Gulf of Oman.
Indian overseas ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal informed reporters that U.S. Navy operations focused three vessels with Indian crew members aboard.
“These attacks must cease and end,” Jaiswal declared. “We also call for dialogue and diplomacy so that we can have an early return to peace and stability in the region.”
The U.S. and Iran stay at odds over control of the Strait of Hormuz, a very important oil transport hall that sits at the middle of ongoing negotiations.
