World-renowned DJ Diplo hoofed it out of the Burning Man pageant, trekking six miles in the muddy Nevada desert after rain lashed the annual gathering.
The musician filmed himself strolling along soaked terrain, after downpours pressured the closure of the pageant’s main entry and exit gate in the Black Rock Desert.

“Here I am, walking out of Burning Man again,” he said in one clip posted to his Instagram account. “Six miles in, we’re almost to the road.”
“It’s f—d up, but I love it,” he added in another clip. “Life presents many challenges, you’ve just got to persevere.”
He later confirmed himself inside a car speaking with a good friend, who famous an app on his telephone said it was a 39-minute stroll.

“It was like 2 hours, but okay,” the DJ responded while laughing.

Diplo also shared that he had been performing at Burning Man from Wednesday evening to Thursday evening, stretching into early Friday morning. After his Thursday evening performances, he was seen partying until 6:30 a.m.

Burning Man has been steadily shrinking since its 2019 peak, but the share of people in their 40s and 50s is on the rise, data exhibits. The pageant itself has gotten more costly to attend.
