Dancing With the Stars is going through renewed criticism even as it experiences a surge in rankings, as many continue to criticize the judges’ panel for their “skewed” critiques throughout the season, which followers have blamed for the shock cuts of fan-favourite celebs.

According to a new report, the critiques are main to renewed criticisms of one decide in specific–Carrie Ann Inaba.

“Carrie Ann has her favorites, and she’ll have two or three that, no matter hat they do–they could walk on the stage, trip, hit their face–and she’d be like, ‘You tried so hard, 9!’” Friedle said in a current podcast episode.
“Then Danielle does the best thing, where she’s doing triple flips, and [Inaba will] be like, ‘You’ve gotta hold your shoulders different, too.’ And it’s like, what the f–k?’”
However, despite the backlash, the source told Page Six that somebody had to be a villain, and the judges possible are always going to be solid in that gentle with viewers due to their roles.
“I would have to imagine they feel some sort of pressure not only to satisfy the audience, but they’re judging–that’s what their job is. They have to judge it, and they have to be honest about it. They can’t really protect other people’s feelings,” they said. “At the end of the day, it’s a TV show.”
