Elon Musk Reportedly All-In on GOP Midterm Efforts

The world’s richest man, SpaceX/Tesla CEO Elon Musk, was once Donald Trump’s good buddy and donated some $260 million in the 2024 election to help the now-president and other GOP candidates get elected. He campaigned closely for the Republican nominee and, after the inauguration, grew to become the public face of the now-shuttered Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Then they’d a falling out in June of ’25 — Elon had points with the One Big Beautiful Bill, largely because it eradicated electric vehicle subsidies and Musk thought it contained a “mountain of disgusting pork” — and issues turned ugly. Musk went so far as accusing Trump of hiding the Epstein Files because his title was in all probability in them.

It appeared like a doomed relationship.

But as with other Trump alliances that appeared to be damaged perpetually (assume Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis, and even, unbelievably, former fixer turned foe Michael Cohen), Trump has once again patched issues up considerably with the tech titan, and studies point out that Musk desires to be a major participant in serving to the GOP win the midterms.

Musk is backing up his guarantees to go all-in for the GOP. If he follows through with his big-money plans, it will only widen the funding edge the Republicans at present take pleasure in over the Democrats, who are in dire straits financially. RedState’s Nick Arama wrote about the DNC’s many issues on Sunday:
