Exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi was interrupted by Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) attendees as he took the stage on Saturday in Dallas, Texas.
But his speech was cut off by the gang chanting, “THANK YOU TRUMP!”
The son of the shah of Iran, who was overthrown during the 1979 revolution that introduced the Islamic Republic to energy, Pahlavi called for Iran to be “great again.”
He added, “You cannot reform a snake. Venom is in its DNA.”
His feedback come as Iran seems to be setting itself up as the gatekeeper for the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s most important artery for oil shipments.
The transfer may cement Tehran’s de facto chokehold over the essential waterway and formalize its means to keep its own oil flowing to China.
