Fan at Pirates game falls 21 feet onto playing…
A fan’s fall onto the sector from the best area bleachers at PNC Park during Wednesday’s Pirates-Cubs game resulted in a scary scene.
After Andrew McCutchen doubled in the underside of the seventh inning, the fan, sitting in what appeared to be the first row of the best area bleachers, fell from his seat and onto the warning monitor.
Another fan jumped onto the sector to help.

The fan was attended to for around 5 minutes by stadium personnel, according to the Associated Press, as gamers knelt and prayed.
“Tonight, during the seventh inning of the game at PNC Park, an adult male fell from the right field bleachers onto the field of play,” the workforce mentioned. “Pittsburgh EMS, as well as the Pirates and Cubs athletic training teams and other PNC Park personnel reacted and responded immediately and administered care. He was transported to Allegheny General Hospital. No further information is available at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”
