Customers aren’t lovin’ it — but possibly they need to be.
While some menu items at fast food chains are beloved by all, others might be ignored. And even some of the least ordered items are literally scrumptious.
At McDonald’s, the largest McLoser is their scorching tea, ordered so occasionally that one Ohio McDonald’s supervisor went viral in 2021 for sharing that he didn’t even know they bought it.

“Over the years, a ton of people have asked me what is the least ordered item at my McDonald’s,” Stephen Patula said in a TikTok video at the time. “We bought these stores in July and I have yet to serve one hot tea. I actually didn’t know that we sold hot tea until about a month ago.”
“Ironically, though, our most sold item is iced tea,” he added.
In the feedback of the viral video, other McDonald’s employees agreed that the recent tea — made with water, orange pekoe and pekoe cut black tea — was the least ordered merchandise.
“We sold a hot tea the other day. No one knew how to make it,” one wrote. “We had to get the [general manager] to help us.”
“I honestly didn’t even know McDonald’s had tea until I started using Uber Eats,” another said. “It’s not very well advertised.”
User @sambucha steered that the least ordered merchandise at the Golden Arches is definitely the Filet-O-Fish. He said it may perceive why people don’t order it because it didn’t look appetizing — but it didn’t style “too terrible.”
A different TikTokker went to his McDonald’s and they told him the least ordered merchandise was the Daily Double, and after attempting it, he said, “Yeah, I’m never getting this ever again.”
Sam added that Burger King’s Big Fish Sandwich is their least well-liked merchandise — but it tasted “much better” than McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish.
Chick-fil-A’s least well-liked merchandise is their Cool Wrap, which Sam said only 0.6% of clients order, but “is actually fire” in phrases of style.
People on social media have shared that Taco Bell’s least ordered merchandise is the pintos and cheese, which is a bowl with beans, purple sauce and cheese.
One TikTokker who seemingly works at the taco joint revealed that this only will get ordered once a week or once every two weeks.
Meanwhile, Sam said that Taco Bell’s least well-liked merchandise was a Three-Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt, which was “basically just a fatter quesadilla, and this was also incredible.”
