Fox News contributor urged to grow a spine by | TV Shows

A Fox News contributor has been urged to “grow a spine” by fuming viewers.

Over the weekend, Riley Gaines, a Fox News contributor and host of The Riley Gaines Show podcast, appeared on the Big Weekend Show to talk about the “new woke” at Vanity Fair, which the community claimed focuses on anti-ICE “activism.”

The 25-year-old former collegiate swimmer, who is understood for campaigning against the participation of trans ladies in ladies’s sports activities, told the show’s hosts, “I believe that words like compassion, empathy, inclusion, and love they’ve been weaponized against us. Especially us as women.” This comes after Fox News’ Jesse Watters was branded “dumb” as one of his latest friends went on a racist rant.

X person Acyn shared a clip of the second Gaines made her feedback, and a number of fellow social media customers weighed in in the feedback.

One viewer raged, “Oh grow a spine,” as another slammed, “I’m always impressed by how Riley Gaines can find new ways to make me hate her even more.”

A 3rd fumed, “Why is she even sitting up there!? She’s not even a journalist! Disgusting!” Meanwhile, a fourth bashed, “The fact this woman became a grifting influencer because she sucked at swimming.”

Yet another added, “Says the ‘woman’ that has zero compassion, empathy, or love.”

However, Gaines did have some people defend her feedback, including one social media person who wrote, “She’s absolutely correct.”

Another added, “She’s right,” as a third defended, “She’s not wrong. Nothing she has said about the trans agenda has been wrong.”

Someone else chimed in, “Actually, Riley Gaines is 100% right. ‘Compassion’ & ‘inclusion’ get weaponized to shame women into giving up fair sports, privacy in lockers, safety on podiums.”

The social media person continued, “Real empathy protects female athletes who’ve already lost scholarships, records & opportunities. Stop gaslighting. #SaveWomensSports.”

Gaines has made her ideas about ICE very clear on her podcast.

In late January, she spoke about Liam Ramos, the five-year-old boy taken by ICE brokers from his driveway in Minneapolis. Images of Liam being held by a federal agent prompted widespread disgust in the U.S.

Gaines remained unfazed by the state of affairs. “I will say thank you to our ICE agents,” she said on the podcast.

She added, “Thank you for not abandoning that five-year-old boy like his father did. I’m glad and I’m grateful.”

The DHS claimed the boy had been deserted by his father.

However, eyewitnesses and Liam’s faculty district said the daddy had been detained by ICE, which then tried to use the kid “as bait” to get other relations out of their home, according to the Guardian.

Gaines pleaded to her followers not to really feel dangerous for victims of ICE cruelty like Liam, Renee Good, or Alex Pretti.

“Do not let compassion, or what you believe to be compassion, cloud you or suspend you from thinking critically,” she said.
