Fox News fans brutally mock Trump crony as | TV Shows

Fox News viewers have ripped into one of Donald Trump’s cronies after he revealed a slightly embarrassing picture of himself on air.

Greg Bovino served as the “commander-at-large” of the US Border Patrol and the tactical lead for Operation Metro Surge from December 2025 until late January 2026. However, following the operation in Minneapolis and the killings of two people by federal officers, he was eliminated from his post by Trump and relocated.

As the chyron “Americans brutalized, Dems don’t care” sat at the underside of the screen, Ingraham thanked Bovino for his service, but one factor about this second caught people’s eyes.

Speaking to Bovino, Ingraham said, “There will be more bloodshed across this country because of Democrats who refuse to let ICE do their work, or the Border Patrol, or the DHS.

“It is atricious, and Greg, I would like to personally thanks for your service to this nation. You bought a lot of grief after Minneapolis. You served this nation proudly as a patriot. And I’ve utmost respect for you, sir, and thanks for what you tried to do for this nation, and what you probably did.”

Smiling, with a slight nod, Bovino replied, “Well, thanks. I’m very blessed. 30 years with the Green Team, it would not get any better than that, and I’m very blessed, thanks.”

However, it wasn’t Bovino’s words or Ingraham’s praise that left Fox News viewers chuckling, but the photo in the background of the former agent’s screen.

Behind Bovino, a huge portrait of him in full Border Patrol garb could be seen, mounted on a stand in its shiny frame. And, frankly, Fox News viewers found the photo hilarious.

Taking to X, one Fox News viewer cheekily wrote, “His Vanity Shot is greater than him!” with a laughing crying face emoji, while another joked, “He is such a weirdo. I’ve a image of myself when I used to be in uniform, but of course I don’t keep it on my wall; I made it into a life-size pillow.”

“Who would not pose a life-size giant portrait of themselves?” rhetorically asked a third, as a fourth Fox News viewer jumped in to say, “I’m sorry, is that a life-size pic of his rattling self in the background,” and a fifth concluded, “Ofc he has a portrait of himself in his room.”
