Fox News audiences have slammed one of the community’s personalities as a “moron” after he shared false statements during a latest broadcast.

Mark Levin, 68, asserted that “most of the country” helps Donald Trump in the wake of latest US and Israeli army operations in Iran. This comes as American forces carried out strikes in Iran as half of Operation Epic Fury, ensuing in the death of the Middle Eastern nation’s chief, and the next killings of six American troopers.

During the March 6 broadcast of Fox News’s hit show, Hannity, the controversial host had an impassioned rant while dramatic background music performed, as he yelled, “Let me just say this. Go, America. Go President. You’ve got 92% of MAGA behind you, and I bet you have most of the country behind you.

“We’re going to destroy this enemy. Free the people in Iran. China’s upset, the Russians are upset, and the Democrats are upset. That’s it. I’m performed.”

The show’s host, Sean Hannity, then replied, “And to be a Democrat, you’ve got to cheer to failure. How pathetic is that place?”

Yet Fox News audiences pushed back against Levin’s commentary, taking to X to challenge his misleading characterization of American sentiment regarding the Iran conflict, reports <a href=”https://www.irishstar.com/tradition/leisure/fox-news-mark-levin-iran-36831422″ rel=”Follow” target=”_self”>the Irish Star</a>.

“I would not put your own money on that guess, Mark,” one Fox News viewer joked while another added, “So 92% of 30% of the grownup population.”

A third person then used stats to make their point, as they penned, “GWN/Ipsos: ‘Some 27% of respondents said they authorized of the strikes, which have been carried out alongside Israeli assaults on Iran, while 43% disapproved,'” as a fourth user said, “Yay? 6 service members died when he promised no wars??? F–k MAGA morons.

“Oh come on, I haven’t read a comment that addresses the 92% MAGA approval. That is objectively not true. Why? Just think about it. Eight percent disapprove, 8%. May as well say 100% approve, which is obviously not true. He doesn’t even lie to be believed. He just lies,” a fifth remarked, with a sixth concluding, “He’s delusional if he thinks most of the country is behind this war. We are not.”

Levin’s remarks comply with Ireland’s sharp criticism of Donald Trump after his army motion against Iran. Addressing the Dáil, Ireland’s parliament, Foreign Affairs Minister Helen McEntee condemned the strikes as missing “mandate or authorization.”

On Thursday, she said: “The current military operations by the United States and Israel have no mandate or authorization from the United Nations. Nor has any attempt been made to seek such an authorisation. Ireland’s position on the use of force outside such a context is well-established and known.”

Reports point out that Trump intends to make the most of Shannon Airport as a staging location and “base” for continued army operations against Iran. The administration has beforehand used Shannon as a refueling stop for “mass deportation” flights.

Irish opposition politicians and activists have condemned the airport’s use as “reprehensible” and are urgent the federal government to prohibit US army stopovers.
