Strive Adds 1,223 Bitcoin As Corporate Treasury | Crypto News

TL;DR: Strive bought another 1,223 Bitcoin over two days, taking its reported holdings to 36,818 BTC in a recent SEC submitting.

Strive’s Bitcoin shopping for spree continued through the center of October. In a submitting dated Monday, the company disclosed the acquisition of 1,223 BTC between October 14 and October 16, bringing its whole reported holdings to 36,818 cash.

The latest buy value roughly $100 million at an average price of about $81,734 per Bitcoin, according to the company’s figures. It adopted an earlier acquisition of 2,822 BTC in the same week, displaying how aggressively the company treasury strategy has accelerated.

The measurement of the holding places Strive among the most important publicly traded Bitcoin homeowners. That creates an uncommon relationship between the company’s shares, its steadiness sheet and the price of Bitcoin: traders are evaluating not only the cash it holds, but also how management funds future purchases.

Preferred shares, equity issuance and other capital-market instruments are more and more central to the treasury-company model. They may give corporations more methods to purchase Bitcoin, but also raise questions around funding prices, dilution and the risk of shopping for into risky markets.

Strive’s announcement doesn’t inform us where Bitcoin costs go next. It does, however, give a clear snapshot of one company’s conviction and the growing scale of its publicity.

The key metric for shareholders will likely be whether or not that accumulation creates worth per share, not just a bigger whole Bitcoin steadiness.
