Former actress Caroline Sunshine, who labored as a White House staffer under Donald Trump, has hit out at critics after being canceled for supporting the president.
The 30-year-old was well-known for starring as European exchange scholar Tinka Hessenheffer on the Disney Channel sequence Shake It Up before stepping into politics. Sunshine labored as a White House staffer during Trump’s first presidency in 2018.
Sunshine spoke about her expertise working for the president as she appeared as a guest on Jesse Watters Primetime on Friday, January 30.
During the published, Sunshine spoke with host Watters about the latest backlash Sydney Sweeney has confronted.
The Euphoria star, 28, has been accused of being a Trump supporter and has been branded a “MAGA Barbie” by critics.

Watters requested his guest, “Did you have to handle these people? You were a child actress.”
Sunshine replied, “So, I used to work on the Disney channel and then when I went to work for President Trump, first as an intern and then as a staffer in his White House, I was suddenly canceled.
“Nobody had any downside with me before and all of a sudden you step up to work for President Trump and cancel tradition kicks in. And you understand, I’m not gonna sit right here and complain about people saying imply issues about me on the web. Like, my ancestors fought in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge so I’m a little bit more durable than that.”
She continued, “But, it is the double customary in Hollywood. I see all these actors and actresses proper now considering that they’re now coverage specialists on immigration, talking out about ICE.

“Where’s the cancel culture that’s coming for them? And by the way Jesse, I don’t wanna hear anything from ICE from people who live in gated communities, from people who have body guards, from people who protected predators like Harvey Weinstein and people whose jobs are never going to be taken from illegal immigrants.”
Concluding her rant, the previous actress shouted, “Give me a break!”
Watters completed off the phase by saying, “Right, I mean, I think you can talk whatever you want about politics when you’re worth $300-$400 million like Bruce Springsteen, or a billion. But until you get there, I’d keep my mouth shut. Maybe that’s just me.”
A clip of the Fox News phase was shared on X and viewers have been fast to share their ideas, with many slamming Sunshine.
“No one is cancelling actors speaking out against ICE because the actors are on the right side of history,” one individual fumed. Another identified, “Being criticized isn’t being canceled. Losing influence isn’t persecution.”
“Whine, whine…” a third individual said as they slammed Sunshine, while another person described her as a “Jobless MAGA Karen.”
A fifth viewer predicted, “She started working for Trump cus she new it was literally her last chance at any sort of fame. I guarantee if she got an offer to star in a Marvel movie she just had to go against Maga she would do it in a second!”
“ICE should be cancelled,” another urged.
