A Fox News guest was outspoken in his shock at Hunter Biden’s apparent failure to notice his father Joe Biden‘s cognitive decline during the latter’s final term.

This week, Fox News anchor Sandra Smith and author Marc Thiessen delved into the revelations from the newly published book ‘2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America.’

The book, penned by acclaimed journalists Tyler Pager, Isaac Arnsdorf, and Josh Dawsey, not only discusses the 2024 election, but also explores the intricate relationship between Joe and Hunter Biden.

The book alleges that Hunter didn’t express alarm over his father’s mental faculties until the 2024 presidential debate. Marc commented on their father-son dynamic, stating, “Well first of all, what is fascinating to me is not only Joe Biden‘s cognitive decline but that he was also deeply distracted from the presidency by his son.”

He elaborated, saying, “He told a friend, ‘The only thing I care about is that he’s not convicted.’ Not that we secure the border, not that we tame inflation, not even that we win the election, his sole concern was that his son not go to jail.”

Marc further insinuated that Hunter had vested interests in encouraging his father to seek reelection. He asserted, “And the other thing that was just obvious was, of course, Hunter Biden was pushing him to run because he was a grifter and he was making money off this.”

She elaborated on the segment, describing Hunter Biden’s concern for his father. “He had never seen his father so out of it and worried about his well-being. A few days later, when Hunter arrived at Camp David for a visit, he told his father, ‘I love you and get some sleep.’ I wonder what else he told him.”

Marc then made a direct claim regarding Joe Biden‘s mental state, “Yeah, you had to be on drugs to not know Joe Biden was cognitively impaired, I mean, truly, the idea that that was the first time he had ever seen his father that out of it are, are you kidding me? The American people had seen him that out of it over and over again in smaller snippets.”

The book titled 2024: How Trump retook the White House and the Democrats lost America hit the shelves on July 8, offering an intricate look into the tumultuous 2024 election.
