A top advisor to Donald Trump‘s presidential marketing campaign has revealed to Fox News that Boston Mayor Michelle Wu might face legal prosecution for refusing to modify town’s sanctuary insurance policies to work with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
Stephen Miller warned that her defiance might show pricey and emphasised she wasn’t performing alone.
He declared, “Sanctuary cities like Boston refused to flip over these menacing threats to public security, and so now they face not only revocation of funds, not only the loss of taxpayer assist, but also potential legal expenses for harboring and smuggling.
“This is as real as it will get. The Department of Justice laid out to these mayors how they have been breaking our legal guidelines, and they refused to change their coverage. And Attorney General Bondi goes to see this factor through to the end.”
Mayor Wu addressed a letter from Bondi during a public address on City Hall’s steps.
The politician added, “We won’t back away from our neighborhood that has made us the most secure major metropolis in the nation, and the main instance of why cities around the nation make this nation safer, more healthy and more affluent for all Americans.”
Her remarks have been greeted with thunderous applause from the gathered crowd who appeared to echo her sentiments.
