Fox News host issues pleas to Trump over Iran war | TV Shows


Fox News host Joey Jones took a shock method while discussing the continuing battle in Iran during one of the community’s weekend exhibits.

Jones, 39, shared his ideas during the conservative news outlet’s weekend programming, as he and other personalities addressed the war, and the potential that Donald Trump would escalate issues by sending troops in with boots on the ground in the approaching weeks.

Addressing both the President and Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of the Department of War, instantly, Jones implored them to method their next steps rigorously.

Staring instantly into the digital camera, he issued his direct plea.

“I’m personally very torn on this. I sat beside Pete Hegseth for years on the couch on Fox & Friends. I had a lot of conversations with him before he was confirmed as Secretary of War. I know what’s in his heart and in his experience,” he said.

“I’ve always watched President Trump for more than a decade, who’s said ‘no new wars,’ ‘no forever wars’ and backed that up,” he continued. “The track record is there. I don’t think he’s changed, I don’t think he’s owned Netanyahu. I do think there are complexities.”

“I am going to say this: President Trump, Pete Hegseth, General Caine and the rest of the generals: if you send our men and women into that country to kill our bad guys, to spill their blood because they deserve it, I’m going to have to agree with you on it.”

He then shifted gears, seemingly asking them not to repeat the errors of the past from the last time the United States bought concerned in a battle in the Middle East.

“Just please do this: Don’t nation-build. Don’t win hearts and minds,” he said. “Don’t spread democracy. Spill the blood without our hands tied and without a PR campaign and get the h–l out of there. That’s all we have tolerance for. That’s all that will work.”

“We won every battle in Iraq and Afghanistan–but we lost the war because our politicians don’t have a spine. Don’t be those people.”

Several viewers also weighed in, though some criticized the remarks.

“That’s a lot of words to say ‘I disagree with you and I think you’re making a mistake,” one individual wrote on X (previously Twitter).

“Goal posts keep moving…now we are for boots on the ground. Just no nation-building. F–k that. No new wars. No regime change. No boots on the ground,” another said.
