Janice Dean is stepping away from Fox News to take “time to heal.”
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Fox News host took to Instagram with “one more post.”
She said, “I wanted to let you all know that I’m taking a break from work (and social media) for a bit.
“I’m ok, but I’ve had some health issues that require rest and time to heal,” she added.
Janice went on to thank her bosses at Fox for being “kind and understanding.” She is trying ahead to taking some R&R and feels “blessed” she will take a break to be with her household.
The host talked about her realization to prioritize her health started during a latest household journey to Rome, where she “started healing spiritually.”
“Now I have to get back to feeling healthy and strong,” she added.
“I’ve always been up front and honest about my life, and I felt I owed you an explanation of my absence. But, I will be back. Grateful to you all for the kind words,” Janice concluded.
The host was imprecise about what health battles she was dealing with, however, followers imagine it has one thing to do with her 2005 diagnosis of a number of sclerosis, which she beforehand called the “invisible illness.”
According to Mayo Clinic, a number of sclerosis is a disease that causes a breakdown of the protecting protecting of the nerves.
When she initially opened up about her diagnosis, she said her “body is attacking its central nervous system, the brain, and the spine.
“There’s a communication breakdown between the messages our brain sends to the rest of our body,” she explained.
Janice was uneasy when she first realized of the disease.

“At the time, I knew very little about MS, and the things I had heard about the disease scared me,” the host told Brain & Life. “I envisioned a wheelchair in my future.”
The disease may cause numbness, weak point, hassle strolling, imaginative and prescient adjustments and other symptoms.
Other celebrities have also been recognized with a number of sclerosis like Christina Applegate, Selma Blair and Jack Osbourne.
Janice has been working at Fox News for over 20 years. She first joined the staff in January 2004.
She serves as the senior meteorologist on Fox & Friends, which is hosted by Ainsley Earhardt, Lawrence B. Jones, and Brian Kilmeade.
Janice will also be stepping away from her Fox News podcast, where she shares “stories of triumph, inspiration, and good deeds of those who make her ‘Dean‘s List.’”
Along with her presence at Fox News, Janice has also authored the kids’s ebook sequence Freddy the Frogcaster that teaches youngsters about the climate.
