Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s selection of denim for gymnasium apparel has left followers puzzled, and Fox News host Jesse Watters could not resist probing the Secretary of Health about his unconventional workout put on.

Seizing the second on Tuesday’s episode of Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime, the 47-year-old host inquired, “Before we get started, I have to ask you a question that everybody’s wondering about. Why do you wear jeans when you work out?”

71-year-old Kennedy explained, “Well, I just began doing that a long time in the past because I’d go climbing in the morning and then go straight to the gymnasium, and I discovered it handy. Now I’m used to it, so I just do it.”

Watters responded with a light-hearted remark, “Okay, there were a lot of theories, but that makes perfect sense,”.

Kennedy, recognized for his love of climbing, turned heads last month when he was noticed scaling an Arizona mountain in the blistering heat donning blue denims.

The Health Secretary sparked additional curiosity after being caught on digital camera working up a sweat in the gymnasium, sporting his trademark denims.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld introduced the subject to the forefront again on Tuesday, questioning, “Somebody’s gotta raise this question. Why does RFK wear jeans when he exercises?” He continued, “This is not the first time, this is now the third or fourth time. It’s all the time. It’s like wearing a Speedo to church. This is not right.”

Despite Kennedy clarifying his fashion decisions, followers remained puzzled over his desire for denim on hikes.

On platform X, one person queried, “Why does he hike in jeans? What sort of answer is that?” while another criticized, “Jeans are not good hiking pants, either.”

Another speculated humorously, “He thinks he looks so hot in his jeans.”

Yet, some discovered Kennedy’s rationalization passable, with a commenter noting, “Practical habits often stick. Jeans or not, discipline and consistency matter most in training.”

One particular person humorously acknowledged, “Haha that actually makes sense straight from the hike to the gym practical if not fashionable.”

Others have been less involved with Kennedy’s apparel and more impressed by his physique, as one admirer exclaimed, “That body of his at 71 puts most 21 yr olds to shame.”

Kennedy’s revelation adopted his fitness face-off with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, where they took on a grueling problem at the Pentagon.

Rocking his signature denims, Kennedy joined Hegseth in the “Pete and Bobby challenge,” tackling 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups within 10 minutes. The duo shared their feat in a social media video on Monday, with Hegseth ending in 5 minutes 25 seconds and Kennedy close behind at 5 minutes 48 seconds.
