Fox News commentator Lisa Kennedy Montgomery has accused Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller of creating a “politically disastrous” scenario for President Trump following Alex Pretti’s taking pictures over the weekend.
During Monday’s episode of Outnumbered, the 53-year-old political pundit initially criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for urging protesters in his state to “take your phone out” and movie federal brokers at demonstrations.
However, she also took purpose at the 54-year-old secretary of Homeland Security and the 40-year-old Homeland Security advisor, claiming they “want to deport 80% of the people in this country illegally.”
Kennedy contended that the current immigration enforcement push and the “civil war” occurring within the Trump administration represent “a political win” for figures such as the 61-year-old Walz and 44-year-old Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey.
She acknowledged, “The Wall Street Journal has also, I think they’ve done a good job analyzing the shooting and putting the blame where it needs to go. It’s not just with Tim Walz and his incompetency.

“Here is a governor that has been fomenting this form of radical dissent. He is the one that is saying, ‘Take your cellphone out,’ and sadly, that is what obtained this man killed was his cellphone. They are listening to that but is also the administration.
“As we know, as we’ve talked about, there has been a civil war within the administration between people like Tom Homan who want to keep immigration an 80/20 issue, and who want to go into the cities and take out the most hardened criminals, the child rapists, the murderous, the ones in the system that shouldn’t be shielded by someone like Tim Walz who’s desperate to change the narrative.”
Kennedy went on, “And then you have people like Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller, who want to make this an 80/20 issue in that they want to deport 80% of the people in this country illegally.
“That’s a political win for people like Jacob Frey and Tim Walz because they get to say, ‘Look at the gestapo. They are arresting five-year-old and gardeners’ when you have to be holding it to the people that are the most harmful and put the cities at risk, who would invite cooperation from these extremely blue mayors and governors who at this level, everybody wants to de-escalate it. Everyone wants to offer a little bit of diplomacy because we can’t have this on repeat.”

She wrapped up her remarks by stating, “It is politically disastrous for the president and also not the type of civil society we need to live in.”
Intensive care nurse Pretti, 37, was fatally shot by a US Border Patrol agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on January 24. According to his family, the US citizen, employed at a VA hospital, had a strong commitment to helping others and was distressed by Donald Trump‘s immigration enforcement actions in his city.
His father, Michael Pretti, said, “He cared about people deeply and he was very upset with what was taking place in Minneapolis and throughout the United States with ICE, as hundreds of thousands of other people are upset.
“He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street. He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.”
The Department of Homeland Security claimed the person was fatally shot after he “approached” Border Patrol brokers while carrying a 9mm semiautomatic handgun. Authorities didn’t make clear whether or not Pretti had drawn the weapon.
Witness footage of the incident that surfaced shortly afterward exhibits Pretti holding a cellphone, but no video seems to seize him displaying a firearm.
Relatives confirmed that Pretti possessed a handgun and held a legitimate hid carry allow in Minnesota. However, they acknowledged they’d never witnessed him carrying the weapon, studies the Irish Star.
Following video statements from senior Trump administration figures labeling their son a “domestic terrorist” who assaulted the officers accountable for his death, the household launched a written declaration expressing both devastation and outrage.

They added that videos confirmed Pretti was not holding a gun when he was tackled by federal brokers, but holding his cellphone with one hand and utilizing the other to defend a girl who was being pepper-sprayed.
“Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man,” they said.
