GB News host in furious clash with Labour MP over St | UK News

GB News anchor Martin Daubney furiously spoke out after a Labour MP’s declare that British flags make people really feel “uneasy”. Jeevun Sandher’s remarks prompted Martin to launch a furious rant, in which he declared that “this is the United Kingdom” and that those in the Labour Party criticising the flag are “ashamed and embarrassed” of British flags. Mr Sandher claimed in a video on social media: “I see flags painted on roundabouts, and that is just a bit weird. And, you know, you’ve seen it online and I see it in my inbox, that this does make people feel uneasy. And they ask, what message are these flags supposed to be sending?

“Now, look, I’ll take people at their phrases, people who say, this is about national satisfaction. I’m proud of my nation, too, and I’m proud of our flag. But I do perceive why others really feel that it is about excluding people, why others really feel that it is about saying who belongs right here and who does not.”

Martin didn’t hold back on his thoughts and raged: “Once again, it is the case of a Labour politician embarrassing this nation on the world stage.

“Once again, they cannot help themselves; they should just admit it, they’re embarrassed and ashamed of our flag.” GB News Senior Political Commentator Nigel Nelson disagreed with Martin and argued that some people “may feel uncomfortable” with the rise in flags being displayed.

He said to Martin: “He was saying that people feel uncomfortable in his particular area. If his constituents have come to him and said, ‘Look, we actually think those flags mean that you don’t like migrants, ‘ or something like that, then you can understand them feeling uncomfortable.

“We’ve had people in people in this studio who’ve talked about placing up flags, and they’ve talked about unity, about the satisfaction in Britain, and I settle for all that, if that’s what the flags are about, that’s great.”

Later on in the debate, Martin said: “I ask you this query time and time again, why is it the Left that have a downside with our flags? Jeevun Sandher is saying it is a bit bizarre, people really feel uneasy, no they do not.

“If they do, tough. This is the United Kingdom. Grow to cherish and love our flag. If you’re truly ambitious about integration, learn to appreciate our flag and stop feeling weird about it.”
