Fitbit customers who have put off transferring their data to a Google account now have until May 19, 2026, to do so.
Previously, the deadline was Feb. 2, but the Google help web page for Fitbit account migration up to date that date.
According to the post, customers will no longer have the opportunity to access Fitbit with a Fitbit account as of the May 19 deadline. To continue utilizing it, people will need to transfer their Fitbit account to Google.
It also now specifies that customers can still obtain or delete their data any time before Google begins processing data deletions on July 15, 2026.
The company had beforehand famous that that Fitbit account data could be deleted, but they didn’t present a date.
With this new time body offered, it appears that Fitbit customers may have a couple additional months to obtain their data from Fitbit even after the deadline to migrate their account to Google.
