Here’s the whole lot of boorish has-been’s churlish exit:

On June ninth, 156,084 Mainers voted for a new sort of politics. One that is consultant of people down right here in the real world – not billionaires, oligarchs, or the political institution. Mainers voted for Medicare for All; to ban billionaires from shopping for elections; and for an end to taxpayer-funded genocide and endlessly wars. They voted for time and dignity; for strong unions and jobs they will raise households on; for the hope of shopping for a home; for the prospect to retire with grace.

People are determined for change. For this damaged system to be righted. For the American experiment to be furthered. Over the past eleven months, 1000’s and 1000’s of Mainers poured their hearts, time, and expertise into a motion to ship that imaginative and prescient. I can be endlessly grateful to them.

And in submitting this letter today, I search to additional the motion now we have constructed together and the future we imagine in.

My title might have been on the poll, but that poll line belongs to the people of Maine. As such, please think about this discover as my official withdrawal from consideration for this workplace.

F**okay ICE. Free Palestine. Up the Hearts.

Solidarity endlessly,

Graham Platner
