How many years was he in there?…
She broke the web — and a hospital file.
New mother Shelby Martin has gone viral after giving beginning to the largest child to be born at Nashville’s TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital in more than three years.
The Tennessean has shared a number of pictures and videos of her lovely new child boy, named Cassian, who was born via C-section and weighed in at a whopping 12 kilos, 14 ounces (5.8 kg).

“When people talk about having a big baby, like I don’t know ball. But trust me… I know ball,” Martin quipped in a TikTok post that gained more than 4.4 million likes on Oct. 1.
The post photos Martin before beginning, standing in her hospital robe and exhibiting off her outsized bump. It subsequently exhibits supersized Cassian, shortly after beginning, who shocked docs and nurses with his heft.
The TikTok has racked up more than 50,000 feedback from shocked and amused viewers.
One viewer summed up the disbelief completely: “HOW MANY YEARS WAS HE IN THERE?”
Another questioned if the supply concerned some inventive engineering, writing: “Did the baby have to come out of the sunroof????”
“Did you have to push or did he walk out?” another joked.

Meanwhile, TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital called the supply “a beautiful reminder of resilience and love.”
Cassian had a temporary keep in the NICU, where he acquired an IV and oxygen, and his glucose ranges had been monitored.
Martin chimed in with thanks to the staff: “I also want to send extra thanks to the ladies that took the best care of me and helped me navigate through C-section recovery as a first-time C-section mama. Another huge thank you to the NICU team that cared for our big guy and loved on him when I couldn’t. I will never forget you.”
And if you thought it couldn’t get sweeter, Cassian arrived on Shelby’s own birthday, her “greatest gift” yet.
From viral TikTok fame to new child superstardom, Cassian proves you may’t underestimate a big child — or a mother with a sense of humor.
And Cassian isn’t the first jumbo child to grab the web’s consideration.
Last month, in Florida, Daniella Hines practically had a coronary heart assault — and a hernia — when she delivered her son Annan at St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview on September 3.

The C-section revealed a whopping 13 kilos, 15 ounces of new child muscle.
Over in Alabama, another record-breaker arrived in March.
Pamela Mann, a supply driver close to Birmingham, welcomed daughter Paris Halo, a 13-pound, 4-ounce little girl, during a scheduled C-section at Alabama Grand View Medical Center.
Mann had braced for a regular child, but Paris was something but strange.
For comparability, Stanford Children’s Health says the average new child suggestions the scales at just 7 kilos — which means these infants weren’t just big, they had been colossal.
Ultimately, in the battle of child bumps, these tots didn’t just win — they broke the dimensions.
