In an exclusive interview with Candace Owens, former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, opened up about his struggles with drug dependancy and his father’s presidency.
The two mentioned how dependancy often impacts the addict’s family, with Owens speaking about how she, too, had uncles and cousins in her family who had been addicts, which led to her having a unfavourable outlook toward Hunter.
However, Hunter told Owens that, despite their variations, the pair had a “common ground” in dealing with dependancy. Hunter then told Owens about a quote that a buddy had handed along to him.
“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family,” said Hunter, attributing the quote to Mother Teresa. According to the previous first son, the quote had grow to be his “mantra” during his recovery.
Hunte’s declaration of love for his family comes as his relationship with his daughter, Navy, stays strained. The interview also answered questions surrounding the former first son when cocaine was discovered in the White House in 2023. “I wasn’t even there,” Hunter told Owens.
According to Hunter, the drugs were found in a cubby right outside of the situation room. “There is no chance, not even remotely, past the fact that I wasn’t even there,” he added.
