TV star Christopher Biggins has opened up about assembly Prince William for the first time, and what the future King was actually like. The former Big Brother star admitted he had “reservations” about Prince William, but couldn’t clarify precisely why. But Biggins said that when he met him at the Royal Variety Show at the Royal Albert Hall on November 19, where the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual efficiency, his thoughts was modified.
He said to GB News: “I met him afterwards. And he was really quite touched. He was charming.” Biggins had recalled a candy reminiscence with William’s mom, Princess Diana, which he spoke to the future King about.
He told him: “I must tell you that this theatre, the Royal Albert Hall, is where years ago I took your mother to see Liza Minnelli, and your mother was just the most wonderful, incredible woman,” as he recalled that Prince William regarded visibly moved by the story.
In a stark distinction, Biggins was less complimentary about disgraced former Prince Andrew, who has been disgraced after weeks of intense scrutiny over his hyperlinks with late intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Biggins said that Andrew has “behaved ridiculously” and that he feels no sympathy for him, including: “I don’t feel sorry for Andrew. I think if he’d been honest and said, ‘Yes, I had sex with that girl’ then none of this would have happened.”
He added that he thinks that the royal household might be dealing with the repercussions of the allegations made against Andrew for years, saying: The Royal Family will never be the same again.”
Biggins also revealed what Princess Kate is really like, after she brought their three children George, Louis and Charlotte to a pantomime performance.
He told The Telegraph: “She was just strolling away when she got here back and said, ‘Actually, when I was a younger woman I performed Principal Boy.'”
When he asked which role she had taken, Kate revealed it was Dick Whittington, to which Biggins quipped: “Ah yes, I’ve heard of your Dick!”
Kate cheekily replied: “If you inform anybody that story…” displaying her good sense of humour.
