ICE Reportedly Planning Eight, 10,000-Bed | Political News
Closing the border and defenestrating anybody who is in the United States illegally was a major level of President Trump’s 2024 marketing campaign, and despite lockstep opposition from Democrats and the far left (but I repeat myself), he sure is getting the job accomplished. The border is closed, and virtually two million illegals, a technique or another, have gone home.
Now, it appears Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) is planning to decide up the tempo, and that’s good, because the tempo wants choosing up; there could also be as many as 20 million more people in the nation illegally. To that end, ICE is planning eight new huge detention facilities, with room for almost 100,000 detainees.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is planning to increase migrant detention capability to 92,600 beds as half of a nationwide deportation push, according to an inner company memo.
The memo, dated Feb. 13, 2026, lays out a sweeping overhaul designed to help what ICE describes as the flexibility to “effectuate mass deportations,” including eight mega-centers succesful of housing up to 10,000 detainees each and slated to be absolutely operational by Nov. 30, 2026. The memo states that the initiative will probably be funded through congressional allocations under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Beyond the mega-centers, the plan calls for 16 regional processing websites constructed to maintain between 1,000 and 1,500 detainees for short stays of three to seven days, as properly as the acquisition of 10 present “turnkey” services where ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations already operates. The new model goals to consolidate present contracts while centralizing detention operations nationwide.
That’s what we voted for.

Example: One of the smaller, regional processing websites has already been acquired in Surprise, Arizona, a warehouse that will probably be transformed to home 1,500 detainees. Â
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it will add a processing facility with about 1,500 beds in Surprise as half of the company’s efforts to develop detention space.
The company, through an unidentified spokesperson, acknowledged the transfer in a Jan. 30 electronic mail.
Arizona’s Attorney General, Kris Mayes, is complaining about the transfer. Too unhealthy. This is a federal issue, and it is what we voted for.Â
A rustic with no borders is no nation at all. A rustic that can’t police people crossing those borders illegally, particularly the sorts of goblins ICE is prioritizing, has failed at the first function of authorities: Preserving and defending the freedom and property of the residents. During the many years of non-enforcement by the Biden administration and earlier Democratic administrations, as many as 20 million people have entered and stay in the United States illegally. They need to be despatched back, and we are able to rely on only three more years of an administration prepared to do so. We can hope for longer, but that’s what we now have for now. This has to be accomplished, and it has to be accomplished rapidly. The almost two million already deported, voluntarily and involuntarily, properly, that’s a good start, but that’s all it’s – a good start.
Now, to end the duty. It could remind one of the labors of Heracles, but it has to be accomplished.
