What are some of the most useful stuff you realized from your dad and mom and Raf?
One of the most important classes is taking every part one step at a time and going with the circulate.
That’s one thing that’s helped me obtain what I need to do in the game. I also not too long ago realized it’s okay to be different and keep genuine to your self. You don’t need to live up to other people’s expectations.
Which skaters inspire you?
There’s a few that stick with me. Yuzuru Hanyu is one of the my favorites. He’s like a God to me. He helped me discover my fashion with his technical skills and ardour on the ice.
Nathan Chen, too. He’s actually been an inspiration for me. He’s so constant. Kurt Browning’s another one. The method he presents himself ice on the ice is so wonderful.
Any loopy tales from the tour you may share?
Not essentially loopy tales but we’ve been to a few cool locations. We went to Universal and that was wonderful. We went with just about the entire forged and had fast access to all of the rides and all the points of interest.
Even being on the tour busses and going from metropolis to metropolis is always so enjoyable.
Have you began working on next season’s packages?
I’ve not, because I’m still not sure what I need to do next season. I’ll have to see how I really feel after Stars on Ice. So I’m still taking issues one step at a time.
Since you’ve landed the quad axle many occasions, how do you keep pushing the envelope with your skating?
It’s more about discovering issues I can work on. That may not always be technical elements- it may also be enhancing my skating expertise, enhancing my spins, discovering new methods to be more artistic and discovering new ideas and packages.
I always come from a mindset of wanting to improve more and more, and that’s how it helps me push my limits every time, just to keep one-upping myself.
Who are you most proud of on the tour?
Alyssa Liu. I’m very proud of her because of every part she’s had to deal with after the Olympics. She’s a enormous title in skating now and is the inspiration for all of us.
What’s a typical training day like when you’re on the highway with Stars on Ice?
Usually we just get to the next metropolis and have little time to relaxation. Then, we head to the rink midway through the day to set every part up, try the group numbers and see how the show is trying. After that, we now have our particular person practices to get us prepared for the reveals and then it’s showtime.
Which musical artists would you want to see live?
I might love to see NF live again but I’d also love to see Falling In Reverse, Babymetal, Skrillex, Ray Volpe or Sullivan King.
