Iran President Pezeshkian Steps Down Citing Total

Signs and portents of Iran’s management coming aside? Maybe. A report on Sunday from the Jerusalem Post claims that Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, has tendered his resignation to the supposedly still above-ground Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. If this is true, it may very well be a signal that Iran’s civil authorities is coming aside at the seams.

 Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian despatched a letter to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei‘s workplace submitting his resignation, London-based anti-regime outlet Iran International reported on Sunday.

An nameless official told Iran International that the letter had called out the fact that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had successfully taken over large parts of the federal government, and that the president and other high-ranking officers had been cut out of very important decision-making.

Pezeshkian, the letter emphasised, was unable to run the federal government or fulfill his tasks under the circumstances, and as such, requested to resign.

Note that this is info from an nameless source, so do not guess the farm on it. But word the explanation given: That the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has taken over to the purpose where a lot of the nation’s civil authorities is no longer in the loop.

Anonymous sources told Iran International that the first source of the variations between Pezeshkian and the top of the IRGC, who is believed to at the moment maintain the lion’s share of energy in the regime, was “the way the war was managed and its destructive consequences on the people’s livelihoods and the country’s economy.”

Last week, US officers revealed to CBS that Khamenei is hidden in a secret location with little access to the skin world, only reachable through a “labyrinth” of couriers.
