Emmerdale fans made a number of complaints minutes into tonight’s episode (Monday 13 October) as Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) are anxious about Carl’s impending police interview. During the episode, Carl admits to sharing Clemmie’s photograph, but despite Nicola’s insistence that he has discovered his lesson, the police are taking this severely. Meanwhile, Clemmie (Mabel Addison) admits to Dawn (Olivia Bromley) why she despatched the photograph to Carl, saying that she wished him to like her. This leaves Dawn racked in guilt. She then makes an attempt to speak to Nicola, but issues are made worse when Nicola turns into defensive and escalates the dialog into an argument.
ITV fans had been less than impressed with the episode, as some labelled it “boring.” One individual tweeted on X: “Well, this is all very boring.” A second also chimed in: “Well that was an exciting episode,” accomplished with a rolling eye emoji.
