Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter will miss Monday’s sport against the Chargers and is week to week after present process surgery on both shoulders Monday, according to ESPN.
Carter, who has dealt with shoulder points for a lot of the season, is receiving treatment on both shoulders, as he wished to be as close to one hundred pc as potential for the playoffs.
The 24-year-old Pro Bowl tackle took duty for not taking part in up to his potential in Philadelphia’s 24-15 loss to the Bears on Black Friday.

“I blame myself on that, because there were some runs I got drove back and I wasn’t making no effect on the play,” he said.
When requested what prompted his points, Carter said, “That’s my problem to deal with. I ain’t gonna tell everybody what I’m going through.”
Carter made 4 tackles, including two for loss, with a sack, two quarterback hits and a move defended.
He spent half of the first half on the bench while third-year participant Byron Young performed 38 snaps (44 p.c).
Carter performed 61 snaps (70 p.c).
The Eagles allowed 281 yards speeding on the ground.
“He does have a shoulder issue,” defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said of Carter this week. “He has been playing with it. Late in the game, he had a great play with it, but it’s definitely something there.”

The No. 9 general choose of the 2023 draft, Carter missed the first three practices of training camp with a shoulder injury.
Carter has 32 complete tackles with 4 tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits and two sacks in 10 video games so far this season.
He was a key piece in Philadelphia’s 40-22 win over the Chiefs in February’s Super Bowl.
Moro Ojomo and Jordan Davis will lead the protection in Carter’s absence.
The Eagles (8-4) and Chargers (8-4) face off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Monday night time.
