Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers told a choose he has only $200 and is “just trying to survive” as he confronted off in court with the previous “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star.

Phypers took the stand in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom searching for momentary spousal help and attorney charges Thursday. At one level, Phypers admitted he “couldn’t buy food” and didn’t “have hot water.”

Phypers went through his bills, and explained to Judge Nicole Bershon he was residing in a $15,000-a-month six-bedroom home with his dad and mom and brother.
He said he wished to depart the expensive pad, but couldn’t afford wherever else to go, and is going through eviction for non-payment of rent.
The West Valley home, initially shared with Richards, was broken by “the 34 dogs Denise had” he said. Phypers went on to say he owed $180,000 in back rent and damages.

The couple had been just a few toes away from each other at instances, and during court breaks they each went their separate methods in the courthouse hallways.
Richards arrived at the courthouse in a black top, leather-based skirt and high heels. Her attorney argued that she mustn’t have to pay spousal help because she’s a sufferer of home violence.
“Victims of abuse shouldn’t be required to support their abusers,” lawyer Mark Gross said.
Richards was granted a five-year everlasting restraining order against Phypers, on November 7, 2025.
Phypers was arrested in October on 4 felony accounts associated to violence against Richards. Richards claims that Phypers was bodily abusive and allegedly gave her a black eye, according to court papers.
He has denied the allegations.
Phyper’s attorney reminded the choose in court that his consumer has not been convicted of something. “He just needs to get back on his feet,” he said.
