The altercation started during introductions when a contestant obtained in Diaz’ face. The two exchanged phrases and the contestant appeared to attempt to put his arms on the UFC veteran. Moments later, Diaz slapped him escalating the scenario.
Following the incident, Diaz left the show and abruptly flew back home to California despite efforts by the manufacturing staff to have him proceed filming.
