Kai Trump is set to make her LPGA Tour debut next month. The 18-yr-outdated beginner golfer and granddaughter of President Donald Trump will compete in The Annika Driven By Gainbridge at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, from Nov. 13-16. It comes after Kai appeared to have by accident “exposed” the timeline of Donald Trump’s health issue.
Despite being a promising expertise and having dedicated to play golf for the University of Miami, this shall be a important step up for Kai as she competes at the elite stage of ladies’s golf. The daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump expressed her pleasure about the upcoming problem in a video posted on X.
“What’s up guys, I am thrilled to announce that I will be making my LPGA Tour debut in November at The Annika Driven By Gainbridge,” she said.
“The Annika is at the Pelican Golf Club. It has been a dream of mine to compete at the professional level and I’d like to thank the Pelican Golf Club for the invitation.
“I’m wanting ahead to teeing it up and competing with the best gamers in the world at one of the most premier venues on tour. I’ll see you guys Nov. 10-16 at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. I’ll see you guys there.”
Currently ranked No. 979 among junior girls in The Universal Golf Rankings, Kai hopes for a better experience than her previous biggest event, the Junior Invitational.
In March, she ended up last in a field of 24 top junior amateur girls at Sage Valley. Charlie Woods, son of the 15-time major champion Tiger Woods (who is currently dating Kai’s mother), also participated in the boys division at the event and tied for 24th place among 36 players.
Since then, Kai has shown improvement, securing a joint third place at a South Florida PGA tournament in July, following a second-place finish at a Hurricane Junior Tour event.
However, it’s undeniable that she faces a steep learning curve as she prepares to compete with some of the sport’s best players.
The Annika, the second-to-last event of the LPGA Tour season, features a star-studded lineup including world No. 2 and reigning champion Nelly Korda, who bagged almost half a million {dollars} for her victory in last yr’s version of the event.
England’s Charley Hull, who was invited to a banquet at Windsor Castle during President Trump’s state go to to the UK last month, will also be competing at Pelican Golf Club.
