Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, made her first press convention look as a golfer this week, forward of her sudden debut on the LPGA Tour.

Trump is already trying in direction of a vibrant future in golf and has dedicated to attending the University of Miami.

Before she even begins school and takes the next important step in her golf journey, she is enjoying alongside top professionals as a sponsor’s invite at The ANNIKA Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. She also shared her ideas on Caitlin Clark before their shocking crossover during her press speak.

During her media session, Trump fielded a number of questions about her grandfather and his golf abilities, as they’re recognized to incessantly play together. However, Kai appeared oddly hesitant to reveal if she’s ever crushed Donald on the golf course.

When requested: “How do you do against gramps in golf?” she responded: “He’s pretty good. He’s pretty good.”

Pushed additional with “is he?” she continued: “Yeah, he’s pretty good. We have some tight matches. Yeah, can’t say much. Yeah, we have some tight matches.”

When requested straight if she’s ever outplayed him, she sidestepped the question, stating: “I’ll leave that up to you to decide. I don’t know. We play a lot. We have a great time out there. We’re always on the same team as well.”

She later shared the advice he gave her before the match, saying: “Well, I kind of – I know my game pretty well so I have a few people watch things over. I don’t really work with anyone right now at the moment.

“And my grandpa just about told me go on the market and have enjoyable. Just do not get nervous. Try my best not to.”

When asked about what it’s like being the President’s granddaughter and whether he would be attending her tournament, she replied: “No. He’s not coming this weekend. He’s working the world proper now, so a little busy. To me he is just a regular grandpa. Always has been.

“It’s nothing – I would just say it’s like having a normal grandpa. There is nothing different I would say. It’s pretty cool obviously, but to me it’s just normal.”
