Kai Trump confessed that anxiety overwhelmed her during her debut LPGA Tour look, revealing she felt considerably more stress stepping onto the course than during what was arguably the most public second of her younger life.

Trump, who carded 13-over par and sits in remaining place among the 108-woman discipline at The Annika heading into Friday, said it required almost half the spherical before she finally discovered her rhythm.

“To be honest with you, on, like, the 8th hole,” she said of when she finally calmed. “After I hit my shot into 18, and that was honestly the hole I was worried most about, and parred that and I felt like, all right, now we got that out of the way, let’s keep moving on.

“The entire time I used to be nervous without a doubt. I believed I did fairly good for just first time, being the youngest participant in the sector.

“I had a great time out there.”
