Singer Katy Perry appeared to combat back tears live on stage as she sang an emotional track just months after her cut up from husband Orlando Bloom.

The pop celebrity kicked off the UK leg of her Lifetimes tour in Belfast over the weekend, and during the fourth chapter of the show, Choose Your Own Adventure, the second turned particularly emotional. The phase opened with her 2013 monitor Ghost, a track about loss and letting go that appeared to mirror the adjustments in her personal life.

While the monitor wasn’t written about Bloom, its lyrics, which describe an ex-lover and best good friend, felt becoming for her scenario.

As Perry sang, “My vision’s twenty-twenty, I see through you, now, now, now, now, so rest in peace, I’ll see you on the other side,” she crouched close to the entrance of the stage, visibly holding back emotion.

Fans in the group recorded the touching scene, with many noting on social media that the singer appeared teary-eyed.

The couple started courting in 2016 and bought engaged three years later. They share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy.

Despite a number of makes an attempt to mend their relationship, pals said that troublesome conversations over the vacations made it unattainable for them to transfer ahead.

Neither talked about the other on Valentine’s Day, which was the sixth anniversary of their engagement, and their last joint look was at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in March. The same source described the breakup as a “massive shock,” including, “Everyone thought that they were tighter than tight.”

Perry was beforehand married to comic Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, while Bloom shares a 14-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
