Rod Stewart, 80, shares blunt 8-word remark about his | Music News

Rod Stewart isn’t slowing down anytime soon, despite his latest prostate cancer diagnosis.

The Grammy-winner, identified for hits like Maggie May and Da Ya Think I’m intimacyy?, says he has no plans to retire despite being in the center of his farewell tour, One Last Time.

“I still enjoy what I’m doing. I love it,” Stewart told PEOPLE. “You can tell it’s written all over my face. Absolutely love it, but all things have to come to an end,” he added, following his followers being outraged over a 35-word post about Donald Trump.

The legendary rocker has offered over 250 million information worldwide. “I’m very happy with my achievements thus far,” he said.

When requested if he had goals of performing at the Super Bowl or World Cup, Stewart shortly dismissed the thought. “I’ve done Glastonbury, so I’m happy,” he said, referencing his past reveals at the legendary UK competition.

“I find it easier to keep my voice in good shape, and it was excellent tonight. It’s been excellent for the last year or so, since I’ve cut back on the drinking,” he said.

Stewart credited his personal life for conserving him grounded.

“I have a loving family. I have an absolutely gorgeous wife,” the singer said, referring to Penny Lancaster, whom he married in 2007.
