Keith Urban critiqued a tune about marriage on Sunday night time’s episode of his CBS show “The Road,” filmed before his break up from Nicole Kidman was revealed.
The nation singer, 58, supplied steerage to contestant Jenny Tolman who was training her tune “Married in a Honky Tonk” forward of a live performance at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Urban told Tolman to swap to a increased notice, which Tolman appreciated.

“The Road” follows 12 aspiring musicians as they compete to open for Urban at music venues across the nation.
The sequence has included hints that Urban’s marriage to Kidman, 58, was on the rocks after almost 20 years.
During the Oct. 19 sequence premiere, Urban carried out his tune “Straight Line” — which he had beforehand said is about “wanting to break out of a soul-sucking routine that you might be stuck in.”

Earlier in the episode, Urban said that he feels “lonely and miserable” while on tour.
News broke in September that Urban and Kidman separated and had been residing aside since “since the beginning of summer.” The “Big Little Lies” actress formally filed for divorce from her husband on Sept. 30.
“Their lives were moving in different directions, and once he quietly set up his own place, it felt like the writing was on the wall,” a source told People about Urban transferring out of their household home in Nashville.

Rumors have also swirled that the Grammy Award winner is already concerned with a new girl.
“All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it,” a number of sources told People.
Since submitting for divorce, Kidman has made varied public appearances, including at amFAR’s public sale in Dallas on Oct. 4 and at Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 in Los Angeles on Oct. 26, where she walked the runway in a beautiful black gown.

She also spoke about dealing with “painful” life adjustments in a Oct. 9 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through,” said Kidman, who shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with Urban.

“You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it’s going to feel insurmountable at times,” Kidman continued. “You’re going to feel like you’re broken, but if you move gently and slowly – and it can take an enormous amount of time – it does pass.”
Urban, for his half, has largely laid low since the break up news, though he did carry out at the 59th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 19.
