He continued, “Hugo will do his checks, and hopefully we’ll get an answer then as to what’s happened, but just absolutely heartbreaking. Completely just bewildering, and we think she was in calf again.”

“This is a lot to process. We are such a small herd, and Cherry was most definitely the matriarch,” he added. “Losing her is a huge blow for us and her calf, Ezra. It’s really upsetting. Absolutely gutted.” Kelvin expressed that his main concern was guaranteeing the protection of the remaining herd, and so he and his spouse, Liz, deliberate to information them into the barn.

Liz mirrored, “It’s just happened so out of the blue, but we’ll get them in now. We’ll work out what we’re gonna do about Ezra, and, yeah, just try and get them all back in the sheds.
