Ahead of his musical act during Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show,” singer Kid Rock, 55, took a swipe at the Grammy Awards, which hailed his Super Bowl rival, Bad Bunny, with a major win.
On Sunday, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny took home a quantity of awards, including Best Album and Best Música Urbana Album at the Grammy Awards. The music sensation from Vega Baja used the Grammys stage to voice his criticism of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) company.
The singer said, “We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans.
“Also, I’ll say to people, I do know it is robust to know not to hate these days, and I used to be pondering sometimes, we get contaminados [contaminated], I do not know how to say that in English,” he continued. “The hate grows stronger with more hate. The only factor that is more highly effective than hate is love.”
The artist wrapped up, “So please, we need to be different if we struggle, we’ve to do it with love. We do not hate them. We love our people. We love our household, and that’s the best way to do it. With love. Don’t neglect that, please. Thank you.”
On Monday, Kid Rock made his feelings clear over the anti-ICE sentiment at the Grammys.

“I noticed some of the Grammys last evening… at one level I just go, ‘Wow, this is like literally a gathering for people with the woke mind virus,’” Kid Rock said on The Charlie Kirk Show.
“You just look around the room and go, ‘Wow, man, this is terrible,’” he added. “It’s just unhappy to see some of these people.”
He also focused singer Billie Eilish and her political assertion at Sunday’s event. After profitable Song of the Year, she boldly said to the microphone, “‘F— ICE.”
He called her out and claimed she is “just sad with every little thing in life.” The star added, “You may need to look into Jesus, woman.”
The singer’s jab at the Grammys came after the late Charlie Kirk’s political organization, Turning Point USA, announced who would perform at its alternate Super Bowl halftime show.

The Cowboy rocker will be joined by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The event will air at the same time as the NFL championship game’s halftime show.
The alternate halftime show will kick off around 8 PM, right when Bad Bunny is set to take the stage as the Seattle Seahawks confront the New England Patriots.
Despite the shortage of updates on the alternate halftime show, Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for the conservative nonprofit, confirmed the event was still scheduled to happen last Thursday.
“We’ll have updates next week,” Kolvet wrote in an e-mail despatched to Vanity Fair on Tuesday. He assured, “It is happening.”
Turning Point USA was based by the late Charlie Kirk in 2012 and has been helmed by his widow, Erika Kirk, who took over after the conservative pundit was killed in September 2025.
